Efraín González has been working in the radio industry since 1997 and is an instrumental part of URBANDER’s production team. He started his career as a board operator where he had a chance to work with many veteran industry personalities from Puerto Rico that had migrated to the states. Efraín then moved to new opportunities, learning more about the other aspects of radio like production and copywriting. By 2004 he was the Program Director and Imaging Producer for WQBQ-AM La Ley, in Leesburg, FL. He also started working independently and simultaneously as a voiceover talent for several advertising agencies and as Station Image Producer for several stations in Orlando, and in smaller markets as well as a consultant. 

In 2005 he formalized his freelance work and launched his own company SOUNDWAVE RIDERS. Efraín has worked with over 60 Radio stations across the United States, Mexico, Central and South America as voiceover talent and/or Imaging Producer and has voiced thousands of TV and radio commercials across the globe.  Some of the major media outlets he’s worked with are Spanish Broadcasting System (SBS), Clear Channel Radio’s Hispanic division, iHeart Radio, ESPN Deportes Radio (winning awards from the New York Broadcasters Association), CBS Radio Group on their Mega Stations in Dallas and Houston as voiceover talent and Imaging Producer. Currently, Efraín also operates WUOH-LP, Mas 100.7FM, a project that he conceptualized and launched under the nonprofit organization Voz Latina Broadcasting to better serve the local Hispanic community in Central Florida.
