Laura Álvarez-Parra

Laura Álvarez-Parra studied Sociology at Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana in México City and Digital Marketing at UCLA. URBANDER relies on her to formulate the print, digital, social media, broadcast, outdoor and experiential marketing strategies we develop for our clients to ensure we properly engage with target audiences and create well-rounded, cost-efficient, and high-impact campaigns.  

As a seasoned marketing and business development professional with over 20 years of experience in media, branding, and public relations for the U.S Hispanic market and Latin America, Laura is also responsible for the management of URBANDER’s West Coast business development initiatives including needs assessments, resource mining/evaluation, planning and budgeting/forecasting. From a creative standpoint, Laura oversees affiliated graphic design, production, and printing collaborators to ensure quality in all deliverables as well as brand alignment for our clients. 

Laura has a solid reputation for accurately identifying and deciphering the advertising and marketing needs of the brands she works with, for providing quality assurance, and delivering unmatched customer service. Her business acumen stems from a stellar career encompassing various industries (i.e., Publishing, Sales, Food & Beverage, Retail) where she excelled at every level.  As a result, she has established throughout her career long-lasting business relationships anchored in trust and the delivery of successful outcomes.
